“I hired Amy Abernathy to be my wedding coordinator for my wedding on 05/27/24. Let me start by saying it is evident that wedding planning is not only her passion, but her calling. It is difficult to put into words how amazing of a planner and how well of a job she does at putting together weddings. From the day I hired her, she has been extremely responsive, getting back to me as quickly as possible. In fact, she always responded to my requests within no more than a few hours. She is efficient, punctual, and professional. She listens to your needs and beautifully makes your ideas come to life to put your vision together for the big day. And when that big day comes, her calming and reassuring presence makes all the hecticness of the day go away. May I add that we have a big family/wedding party, and from our rehearsal practice, to the ceremony, throughout the reception, she was able to corral everyone together so I never had to worry about finding people for photos, signing the marriage certificate, or making sure everyone has all they need. She did an exceptional job coordinating all our vendors, from the DJ, florist, food/beverage caterer, etc. etc. she ensured every detail was met and that there was no confusion between anyone. I am beyond amazed at all the small details she does to make your day all the more memorable. She was ready with champagne right after our ceremony to congratulate us, ensured our late night snack arrived when the delivery person was a bit confused on directions, and generously stayed well after our wedding ended to help my Mom pack up all of our things. It is with great confidence that I will not only recommend, but encourage, anyone looking for a wedding planner to hire Amy and her team at Flourish Event Co.
